In the spirit of getting to know you, I'm going to shamelessly use the classic ice-breaker of three lesser-known facts about me. Apologies to Kelley, on whose blog I already shared one of these.
- I'm scared of snow. More accurately, I fear falling over. Clifftops, ladders and tall buildings are also a problem, but snow and ice are my biggest worry.
- I hate feet.
- I apologise for everything. I've started correcting myself with "actually, that's not my fault", but it's still my first instinct in many situations. My maiden name was Smith and my mother-in-law used to call me "Sorry Smith" :)
For more sensible stuff about me, work and writing, head over to Michele's blog to read her excellent interview questions. Feel free to share your own three fascinating facts in the comments as well!
First time I've heard of someone being afraid of snow. I guess I'd be afraid of some snow, like the icy, avalance-type but not the soft, flaky fluff :)
ReplyDeleteAs someone who lives in Cumbria, the answer to the first two is Very Sturdy Boots! Can't help you with the third, though, sorry ;)
ReplyDeleteHi, I am not afraid of snow - but I hate walking on icy pavements - and rather a contradiction - I love the sea side - but I hate walking on soft sand!
ReplyDeleteI have also just joined the writers campaign - and am in the UK group. I look forward to getting to know you better!

I love snow but I hate driving in it (not helped by a 26 mile round journey to/from work on country roads!).
ReplyDeleteNo apologies necessary :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today. Looking forward to reading more of your blog posts :) I'm scared of vomit :( Please come back to mine on Thursday when I will be announcing the launch of an exciting competition.
ReplyDeleteHello and thanks for commenting on my blog. Great to get to know you a bit more. Feet? Well, I guess I hate smelly feet ... esp my husband's when he shoves them on my lap when we're watching tv! Pooh!
