I've really enjoyed taking part in the British Books Challenge for the last two years, so I'm signing up again for 2013. This year it's being hosted by Sarah at Feeling Fictional, but the basic challenge remains the same: to read and review at least 12 books by British authors. I managed 43 last year, out of the 100 books I read in the year (of which I reviewed 72 overall on the blog). Dare I go for 50 this year? My Goodreads target for 2013 is 100 books (same as 2012), so can I make half the books I read, and potentially two thirds of those I review, British? Let's see...
This is the list of books I plan to read in 2013 and review here (to be updated as time goes on):
- Operation Eiffel Tower by Elen Caldecott
- North of Nowehere by Liz Kessler
- Hold On by Alan Gibbons
- Siege by Sarah Mussi
- A Witch Alone by Ruth Warburton
- The Diamond Thief by Sharon Gosling
- OMG! is this Actually my Life? by Rae Earl
- Waiting for Gonzo by Dave Cousins
- Hidden Among Us by Katy Moran
- The Day I Met Suzie by Chris Higgins
- The Witching Hour by Sara Grant
- Flying High by Sara Grant
- The Retribution by Val McDermid
- The Night Rainbow by Claire King
- The Disgrace of Kitty Grey by Mary Hooper
- The Ghostly Guinea Pig (Mariella Mysteries 1) by Kate Pankhurst
- Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman
- The Great Ice-Cream Heist by Elen Caldecott
- The Fate in the Box by Michelle Lovric
- Acid by Emma Pass
- Wolfsbane by Gillian Philip
- Unrest by Michelle Harrison
